This fantastic and comfortable lounge chair was designed by Ilmari Lappalainen in 1963 for Asko Finland. It was later manufactured by Ikea under the catalog name Vilan in 2005. The Vilan chair was available for only one season before it disappeared from Ikea's catalog. It features a bentwood frame in beech and a seat made of braided synthetic straps, along with a stuffed neck pillow. The chair is in very good vintage condition and structurally sound. Overall height 83 cm, width 76 cm, depth 99 cm.
