B 9 stool, designed by Marcel Breuer in 1926 for the Bauhaus school canteen in Dessau. This example is an early production piece from the 1930s, likely manufactured by Thonet as model B 9s (label missing). Constructed from two pieces of tubular steel, with the seat originally attached using screws through the tube and side of the seat—later Thonet versions used metal flanges. Exceptionally well-preserved in its original condition.
Dimensions: height 45 cm, width 45 cm, depth 39 cm. Tube diameter 3 cm.
